1. INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Internset, operated by Internset Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "we," "our," or "us"), a company duly registered and located in Mumbai, India. We appreciate your use or visitation of our products and services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you are entering into a binding agreement with us, referred to as this "Agreement." This Agreement encompasses the terms and conditions governing your use of our Services. Our Services function as a platform that enables college students and recent graduates from specific educational institutions (hereinafter referred to as "Candidates") to acquire industry experience and practical work exposure through virtual internships hosted or provided by enterprises (each referred to as an "Enterprise"). As a Candidate, you have the ability to explore and join field-based virtual internships that extend beyond seeking employment or contracting opportunities.

Internset does not take part in, nor is Internset in any way responsible for, any interactions between Candidates and Enterprises, except to the extent necessary to maintain our Services. However, please note that in the case of Virtual Internships hosted and published by Internset Pvt Ltd (referred to as the "Enterprise"), Internset actively facilitates and oversees the internship experience. Internset staff will review and provide work approvals and comments, and the internship experience letters will be issued by Internset. Notwithstanding these specific arrangements, any interaction between you and any other individual or entity through our Services or arising out of your use of our Services, including any interactions between Enterprises and Candidates, is solely between you and that other individual or entity. Internset expressly disclaims any responsibility for any interactions between Candidates and Enterprises. For avoidance of doubt, Internset disclaims any responsibility for any employment or contracting opportunities, employment or contracting services, or any other services or products acquired or made available through our Services, even if Internset investigates or attempts to verify any information in connection therewith. You agree that you must evaluate and bear all risks associated with the use of our Services, including the Services Materials and the User Content.

As a Visitor or Member of our Services, the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data is subject to this Privacy Policy (which includes our Cookie Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy) and updates.

When you register and join the Internset Services, you become a Member. If you have chosen not to register for our Services, you may access certain features as a "Visitor." This Agreement applies to both Members and Visitors.

We may modify this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookies Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to them, we will provide you notice through our Services, or by other means, to give you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. We agree that changes cannot be retroactive. If you object to any changes, you may close your account. Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms as of their effective date.

2. REGISTRATION

You agree that by accessing or using our services, including but not limited to participating in Skill Tests or joining Virtual Internships, you are agreeing to enter into a legally binding contract with Internset (even if you are using our Services on behalf of a company, college, or university). If you wish to terminate this contract, you can do so at any time by closing your account and discontinuing the use of our Services.

  3. Agree to use the Site and Services in accordance with this Agreement.

During the registration process, you may be required to provide certain information about yourself, including some types of personally identifying information. You agree that the information you provide to us will be true, accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and currency of this information. Any information you provide through our Services or email is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference.

If you are creating an account as an employee, agent, or representative of a company, college, or university, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to enter into binding contracts, including this Agreement, on behalf of yourself and the organization.

2.1 Social or Third-Party Sign Up and Sign In

You may be able to register an account and subsequently access Internset through a third-party site, such as Google. If you access Internset through any such Site, you agree that we may access and utilize (if applicable) any information, data, text, messages, tags, and/or other materials that you have provided to and stored in your third-party account, as permitted by the respective third-party service's terms and conditions. The availability and usage of this information on Internset may vary depending on the specific integration with each third-party service.

3. PROFILE

To access and participate in our Services, you may need to complete an onboarding process, which includes specific steps such as Skill Tests and meeting the requirements for Virtual Internships. The onboarding process may involve submitting necessary information and documentation. By participating in our Services, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information as required during the onboarding process.

For detailed information on how to start a Virtual Internship, including the requirements for Skill Tests, video interviews, and document submission, please refer to our Help Center. The Help Center provides comprehensive guidance to help you successfully navigate the onboarding process and begin your Virtual Internship journey.

4. ACCOUNT PERMISSIONS

You agree not to request or allow another person to create an Account on your behalf, for your use, or for your benefit, except where authorized. This includes cases where an authorized employee, agent, or Internset staff member may create an Account on behalf of your business, as a candidate, or for users from Universities or Colleges who want to use Internset for Campus. By granting other Users permissions under your Account, including as a Team Member, Agency Member, or Campus User, you represent and warrant that: (a) the User is authorized to act on your behalf; and (b) you are fully responsible and liable for the User's acts and omissions. If any such User violates the terms and conditions of this Agreement, it may affect your ability to use the Site and its Services. Upon closure of an Account, we may close any or all related Accounts.

5. VERIFICATION

When you register for an Account, your identity will undergo a verification process to ensure the authenticity of your information. This verification is aimed at confirming the identity of users and preventing fraudulent accounts.

In addition to identity verification, Internset offers skill verification specifically for Candidates who are interested in taking skill tests or joining virtual internships. Skill verification is not a periodic process but occurs when a Candidate voluntarily chooses to participate in a skill test or apply for a virtual internship. The specific skills required for joining a virtual internship may vary depending on the internship position and requirements.

During the skill verification process, you may be required to pay the applicable fee online through our website. Successful completion of the skill verification will result in your Account showing verified skills in the respective areas you have been tested on. This verification showcases your proficiency and expertise to potential employers and enhances your chances of being selected for virtual internships that match your verified skills.

For identity verification or verification pertaining to other user types, such as Businesses (Enterprises), university/college users, partners/agents, or users from Universities or Colleges interested in using Internset for Campus, specific verification procedures may apply. Additional information and official documents may be requested to validate identity, location, or affiliation with a particular organization or institution.

Internset is committed to maintaining a trustworthy and reliable platform by conducting appropriate verification processes to verify user identities and skills. For more information about accessibility features on Internset, please refer to our Accessibility Statement.

6. VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Upon registration, an Enterprise may publish virtual internship opportunities through our Services. These opportunities, referred to as "Virtual Internship Listings," represent specific programs offered by the Enterprise. Each Virtual Internship Listing must include the following information: start date, program title, program description, duration, tasks, and required skills. Enterprises are allowed to make typographical corrections to their Virtual Internship Listings but cannot make substantial changes to the specified duration, tasks, and required skills without prior authorization. Internset will map the relevant skill tests as part of the Application Process based on the specified required skills.

Internset reserves the right to review each Virtual Internship Listing to ensure compliance with this Agreement. If Internset determines, in its sole discretion, that any representation or warranty made by you is false, incomplete, or inaccurate, we reserve the right to reject, remove, suspend, or delay the publication of your Virtual Internship Listing, in whole or in part. While Internset may provide an explanation for the rejection or removal of a Virtual Internship Listing, it is not obligated to do so.

All virtual internships posted on Internset will be automatically listed on a publicly-viewable page. These pages are indexed by various third-party platforms and will remain accessible even after the positions have been filled. However, applications will no longer be accepted once a listing is closed.

As an Enterprise, it is your responsibility to ensure that the information provided in your Virtual Internship Listings is accurate and complete. Any acts of misinformation or concealment of material information may result in the permanent blocking of your account or appropriate action, as determined by Internset.

During the first-time user authentication process, you may be asked to provide company documents for verification purposes. This information will only be used for authentication and will not be used elsewhere in any form.

You agree that Internset may, at its sole discretion, remove or prevent the publication of any virtual internship for any reason or without providing a specific explanation.

7. APPLYING ON INTERNSET

On Internset, you, as a candidate, have the opportunity to browse and apply for virtual internships hosted by companies and enterprises. Our platform serves as a hosting platform specifically designed for virtual internships. When you click the "Apply" or similar button to submit an application, your application will be forwarded to the enterprise using the contact information they provided when creating their account on Internset.

While Internset strives to verify the enterprise and the information they provide, we do not guarantee the identity of enterprises or individuals associated with them. We strongly advise candidates to exercise caution when applying for virtual internships. It is your responsibility to verify the legitimacy of any virtual internship offer. Internset encourages candidates to thoroughly evaluate and verify the details of virtual internship offers, including the nature of the work, duration, responsibilities, and any additional terms and conditions. It is important for candidates to assess whether the virtual internship aligns with their career goals, educational requirements, and personal preferences.

Virtual internships aim to provide college students and recent graduates with industry experience and practical work exposure. The application process for virtual internships may involve additional steps specific to each opportunity. This can include passing skill tests to verify your qualifications, participating in video interviews, and submitting necessary identification proofs and documents upon selection.

We prioritize transparency and aim to provide a reliable platform for candidates. However, it is important to note that Internset serves as a connection between candidates and virtual internship opportunities, and the ultimate responsibility lies with candidates to assess and verify the legitimacy of enterprises and virtual internship offers.

If you have any concerns or questions about a virtual internship or enterprise, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We are here to assist you throughout the application process and ensure a positive experience on the Internset platform.

8. VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP WORKFLOW

During a virtual internship on Internset, candidates are expected to follow a structured workflow as outlined by the Enterprise they have joined. This workflow is designed to ensure effective communication, accountability, and productivity throughout the internship period. Please review the following details regarding the virtual internship workflow:

  1. Remote Proctoring: The candidate's day-to-day workflow will be remotely monitored by authorized staff from the Enterprise. This includes tracking the candidate's daily, weekly, and monthly work hours, as well as monitoring login and logout timestamps. The purpose of remote proctoring is to maintain transparency and ensure adherence to the agreed-upon work schedule.

  2. Work Submission System: Internset utilizes a work submission system that allows candidates to submit their completed work for assigned tasks. Candidates are encouraged to submit their work within the specified deadlines. The submitted work will be reviewed by supervisors or the management team from the Enterprise. Feedback may be provided to help candidates improve their work quality and meet the internship objectives.

  3. Appropriate Work and Misuse Policy: Candidates are expected to submit appropriate and relevant work that aligns with the assigned tasks and the objectives of the virtual internship. Inappropriate or irrelevant work submissions may be rejected. If a candidate repeatedly misuses the system by submitting inappropriate work, Internset reserves the right to terminate the candidate's account.

  4. Discipline and Self-Motivation: Candidates are encouraged to take personal ownership of their virtual internship experience. While guidance and support will be provided by the supervisors or the assigned management teams, candidates should not rely solely on hand-holding. It is expected that candidates take the initiative to research, learn, and complete tasks independently, demonstrating a disciplined and self-motivated approach.

  5. Commitment and Timely Task Completion: By joining a virtual internship, candidates commit to fulfilling the assigned tasks within the given time frame. Punctuality, timely task completion, and meeting the internship requirements are essential to make the most of the virtual internship opportunity and to ensure a successful learning experience.

  6. Responsibility for Communications and Work Submissions: Internset assumes no responsibility for the communications or work submissions between parties using this Service. Communications and data-sharing are the sole responsibility of the parties using the service. It is important for candidates and Enterprises to exercise caution and adhere to any confidentiality or data protection policies in place.

Please note that the virtual internship workflow may vary depending on the specific Enterprise and the nature of the internship program. Candidates are advised to familiarize themselves with the workflow and any additional guidelines provided by the Enterprise they are interning with.

9. PROVISIONS APPLICABLE FOR PLATFORM FEATURES

Internset may inform Candidates when an Enterprise has taken actions related to the information shared with the Enterprise on their behalf. These actions may include reviewing the Candidate's application, resume, or profile on Internset, as well as making decisions about their application. Internset may utilize such materials for data analysis, quality control, and platform refinement. Based on this analysis, Internset may provide observations and feedback to the Candidates, specifically areas of their skills that may need improvement.

For instance, Internset may inform Candidates about the status of their work submissions, including whether their submissions were rejected or not approved by the supervisor or the authorized management team. Additionally, Candidates may receive notifications regarding their virtual internship's productivity and performance as assessed by the Enterprise. This information aims to provide insights to the Enterprise users about the progress and engagement of the enrolled Candidates.

Internset may also send reminders to Enterprise users when Candidates need to take breaks during their virtual internships. Furthermore, Internset may send emails on behalf of Enterprises to notify Candidates that a virtual internship posting aligns with their profile. These communications are intended to facilitate smooth interactions and potential matches between Candidates and Enterprises.

By using Internset, you acknowledge and agree that Internset may take such actions to provide relevant information and facilitate effective communication between Candidates and Enterprises.

10. PAYMENT

Some of our Services, including the opportunity for an Enterprise to post a virtual internship, will be available for purchase. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account, whether made by you or another person using your account. If for any reason Internset does not receive payment for a purchase, we may take appropriate action, including but not limited to (a) immediately suspending or terminating your account; (b) seeking collection of the outstanding amount owed; and/or (c) pursuing legal action for the breach of these Terms. Please note that additional terms and conditions may apply to specific payment transactions, and you will be informed of any such terms at the time of purchase.

You are also responsible for paying any applicable taxes imposed by governmental authorities in connection with the use or purchase of our Services, including sales, use, and excise taxes. If Internset is obligated to collect such taxes, the applicable tax amount will be added to your billing account. All sales are final, and Internset is not responsible for any costs or expenses arising from any interactions between Candidates, Colleges/Universities, and Enterprises.

The user hereby authorizes Internset to run credit/debit card (or any supported payment method) authorizations on the payment method information provided by the users, to store credit card and banking or other financial details as the user's method of payment consistent with our Privacy Policy, and to charge the user's credit card (or any other Payment Method) for the requested service, such as a Campus account or fees for taking skill tests. To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to our Privacy Policy, you acknowledge and agree that we may use certain third-party vendors and service providers to process payments and manage your Payment Method information.

10.1 CURRENCY CONVERSION

The Internset platform and services primarily operate in INR (Indian Rupees). However, we also support transactions in USD (United States Dollars). If a user's Payment Method is denominated in a currency other than INR and requires currency conversion to make or receive payments in INR, Internset may provide foreign currency conversion rates for supported currencies to convert them into INR. These conversion rates are based on market conditions and are subject to regular adjustments.

Please note that the wholesale currency conversion rates used by Internset and its Payment Processors may differ from the foreign currency conversion rates displayed on the site. Users have the option to authorize the charge, debit, or credit of their Payment Method in a supported foreign currency, which will be converted to INR at the displayed foreign currency conversion rate on the site. However, if the user does not authorize the conversion or if the foreign currency is not supported by Internset or its Affiliate, the payment will be charged, debited, or credited in INR, and the user's Payment Method provider will apply its own foreign currency conversion rate.

It's important to note that the user's Payment Method provider may charge additional fees, even when no currency conversion is involved. The user's decision to authorize a payment using a foreign currency conversion rate displayed on the site is done at their own risk. Internset and its Affiliates are not liable for currency fluctuations that may occur during billing or crediting of a Payment Method.

Please be aware that while INR is the primary operating currency on our platform, we also facilitate transactions in USD for the convenience of our users.

11. IN-SERVICE PURCHASES/PURCHASE TERMS

At times, the Site will offer certain services, features, or subscriptions for purchase within the Service ("In-Service Purchases"). These In-Service Purchases are available to Candidates, Enterprise users, and Colleges & Universities (users of Internset for Campus) to enhance their experience and access additional features or resources.

By completing an In-Service Purchase, you agree that the transaction is final and that you will not be entitled to any refund, credit, or exchange. The prices displayed on the Service are subject to change without notice. If you choose to cancel your account at any time, you will not be eligible for a refund.

Internset grants you a limited license to utilize the purchased items or services within the Service, subject to your compliance with this Agreement. The purchased items or services are for your personal or organizational use within the Service and do not hold any real-world value or equivalent credit balance.

You may not sell or exchange any In-Service Purchases for virtual or real currency credited back to your Internset Account. Additionally, you will not be eligible to receive a refund of virtual or real currency for In-Service Purchases, including any virtual currency, if your access to the Service has been suspended, limited, or terminated due to a violation of this Agreement.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any In-Service Purchase, feature, or resource offered within the Service, at any time and without prior notice. However, in the event of any modification or discontinuation, we will make reasonable efforts to inform affected users and provide alternative options, if available.

Please review your In-Service Purchases carefully before completing the transaction. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the In-Service Purchases or these Purchase Terms, please contact our support team for assistance.

12. SUBSCRIPTIONS

Internset may offer access to certain parts of the Service on a subscription basis (" Subscriptions"). Subscriptions shall be for a specified term selected by you through the Service. Subscription-based parts of the Service may renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis, with payment due prior to each renewal unless you cancel your Subscription before the Renewal Date that is disclosed to you when you activate your Subscription, and through the Settings portion of the Service (in which case you may be responsible for making payments through the end of that calendar month). We may or may not notify you of upcoming Renewal Dates.

You agree to pay your Subscription fee in advance of receiving any Subscription-based part of the Service. Internset reserves the right to discontinue or modify any Subscription fee payment option. You are responsible for all charges incurred under your Internset Account and you are responsible for timely cancelation of your Subscription regardless of whether you receive any notice from us. Internset reserves the right to deactivate Subscription-based parts of the Service to your Internset Account if payment is past due, regardless of the amount.

If you choose a Subscription-based service, you hereby grant Internset permission to automatically charge the Subscription fee to your chosen payment method at the beginning of each applicable payment period. Your access to Subscription-based services will not be established until Internset has verified that the credit card or other payment information you provide for payment is accurate and that your payment method account is in good standing.

You are required to keep your billing information current, complete and accurate (for example, if you move, be sure to update your billing address, if you get a new credit/debit card, make sure you update the card number and/or expiration date) and notify Internset if your selected payment method is cancelled (e.g., for loss or theft).

Internset reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to any Subscription-based part of the Service without notice upon rejection of any charges or if the bank or other entity that makes payment on your behalf (or its agent or affiliate) seeks return of payments previously made when Internset believes you are liable for the charges. Internset also reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to any Subscription-based service if you are found, at the sole discretion of Internset, to be in breach of the Terms of Use, or if you are suspended or banned, for any reason. That being said, you are responsible for canceling your own Subscription(s) if you are banned from the Service.

Any Subscription-based service purchased on Internset is completely "non-refundable" under any circumstances. If you decide to terminate/deactivate your account, you will not be eligible for a part, or full-refund for the service.

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify Internset and its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, and licensors ("Internset Indemnitees") against all claims, actions, suits, and other proceedings (each, a "Claim") arising out of or related to your use of our Services, the Services Materials, or any services, products, or data obtained through our Services. This includes claims arising from fraud, violation of law, negligence, willful misconduct, or any other misuse of our Services, User Content, Services Materials, or the services, products, information, and materials made available through our platform. This indemnification applies unless the Claim is attributable to Internset, or any breach of these Terms by Internset.

You shall also indemnify and hold the Internset Indemnitees harmless from any judgments, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements, incurred in connection with such Claims.

You acknowledge that you may not settle any Claim without the prior written consent of Internset. In certain cases, Internset or its licensors may assume the defense of a Claim, and you shall cooperate in all reasonable respects in such defense. However, you reserve the right to employ separate counsel in any Claim and participate in the defense, subject to Internset's approval of the chosen counsel. If Internset or its licensors do not elect to undertake the defense of a Claim, you shall have the right to defend the Claim with counsel reasonably acceptable to Internset, and WayUp reserves the right to assume the defense of any Claim at any time prior to its settlement or final determination.
