2.1 INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU
In the course of using the Services, whether as a Candidate, Employer, intern, trainee, mentor, reviewer, administrator, visitor, or other user, we may require or otherwise collect information that identifies you as a specific individual and can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Examples of Personal Information include your name, email address, company address, billing address, phone number, educational details, professional background, skills, profile information, and account details.
Registration
When you register and join the Internset Services, you become a Member. If you have chosen not to register for our Services, you may access certain features as a Visitor. This Privacy Policy applies to both Members and Visitors.
Third-Party Registration
If you link, connect, or log in to your Internset account with a third-party service, such as Google or Linkedin, we receive certain information, such as your registration and profile information from that service. This information varies and is controlled by that service or as authorized by you through your privacy settings with that service.
Payment Information
If you use any paid or premium features on Internset, we may also collect certain payment information, such as credit card or other financial account information, billing address, payment confirmation information, or other transaction-related details. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment processors, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Profile
In order to use our Services, you may be asked to fill out information in your profile, such as your education, work experience, skills, photo, city or area, endorsements, interests, and professional background. This profile information helps users get more from our Services, including helping employers, mentors, reviewers, program partners, and business opportunities find or evaluate them.
It is your choice whether to include sensitive information on your profile and to make that sensitive information available in connection with the Services. Please do not post or add personal data to your profile that you would not want to be available through the Services. If you choose not to fill out some compulsory information, you may not be able to access or use our Services partially or at all.
Identity Verification
We may collect Personal Information, such as your date of birth, taxpayer identification number, government-issued identification, photograph, selfie, billing statement, or other verification documents, to validate your identity or as may be required by law, such as to complete tax filings, comply with applicable requirements, prevent fraud, protect platform security, or maintain the integrity of our Services. We may request documents to verify this information, such as a copy of your government-issued identification, photo, or billing statement.
Work Submission for Virtual Internships or Training Programs
We may store the work that you have submitted, feedback you provide on a program, evaluations, progress records, and related program communications. The submitted work will not be shared with a third party unless stated otherwise.
If any organization has partnered or collaborated with us to provide a particular virtual internship, training program, assessment, skill test, or related activity, your work and related program information may be shared with them where necessary for program delivery, review, evaluation, reporting, or compliance. In such a case, you may be prompted about the same during enrollment in the program or through applicable program information.
Biometric Identifiers or Service Interaction Information
We may collect Personal Information such as a photograph of your face, a selfie, or data about your interactions with the Services to verify your identity and to detect fraud, identity theft, or other misuse of your account through facial recognition, image comparison, or similar technologies where applicable.
We may request documents to verify this information, such as a copy of your government-issued identification. From time to time, we may require you to take and submit an additional or updated image of your face for comparison to your government-issued identification. The biometric identifiers or information collected are used only for identity verification, platform security, fraud prevention, and service integrity purposes.
Video Interviews, Program Agreements, Proctoring, and Tracker Activity
When applying to or participating in a virtual internship, training program, skill test, assessment, or related activity, candidates may be required to give video interviews, sign internship or program-related agreements, and participate in monitoring or proctoring activities.
During virtual internships, training programs, skill-based tasks, assessments, verification activities, or related platform services, candidates and their work may be monitored through screenshots, videos, activity logs, session information, screen activity evidence, or similar verification records. This may include information collected through the Internset Task Tracker, referred to as the “Tracker.”
Tracker-related information may include screenshots or screen activity evidence, active application information, active browser tab title and URL in supported browsers, session start time, session end time, session duration, timestamps, task activity status, device and operating system information, application status, upload logs, technical metadata, account information, session information, device authorization details, and other information required to verify participation, task completion, compliance, security, or program integrity.
Tracker-related information is collected only when a tracking session is active. The Tracker is not intended to collect activity outside active tracking sessions. Unless separately disclosed or required for a specific feature, the Tracker is not intended to collect passwords, private files stored on your device, browser-saved passwords, keystrokes, personal messages, audio recordings, camera recordings, or biometric data.
You should avoid opening private, sensitive, confidential, or unrelated personal information on your screen while a tracking session is active. If such information is visible during an active tracking session, it may be incidentally captured in screenshots or activity evidence. Additional terms governing installation, use, consent, user responsibilities, device authorization, and misuse of the Tracker are provided in the Tracker Agreement.
Collection of Third Party Personal Information
We may collect personal information from you about your contacts or friends, such as first name, last name, and email address, when you provide it to us for the purpose of adding your contacts to a message room, invitation feature, referral flow, collaboration feature, or similar Service functionality.
You should only provide personal information about another person if you have the right or authority to do so.
3. AUTOMATIC INFORMATION COLLECTION
When you engage with our Platform, your device automatically provides us with valuable information, enabling us to tailor and customize our responses to you and improve the Services. The data we collect through automated means generally includes technical details about your computer or device, such as your IP address or device identifier, the type of device you use, browser type, platform type, and the version of your operating system.

For instance, if you are a Candidate and receive a message from an Employer, mentor, reviewer, or administrator, we may track whether you have taken any action in response to that message and may send you reminders accordingly.
Moreover, we may utilize automatic scanning, filtering, or moderation technology to assist with the management and enforcement of our User Agreement and other applicable terms. This technology may suggest possible responses to messages and help manage or block content that violates our User Agreement, applicable terms, or platform integrity requirements.
Embedded Scripts
To understand and improve your interactions with the Services, we may utilize software known as an Embedded Script or similar technology. This programming code is designed to gather information about your engagements with the Services, such as the links you click on or the features you use.
The code may be temporarily downloaded onto your computer or device and may be deactivated or deleted upon disconnection from the Services..

At Internset, we utilize the information collected through our Services to provide a seamless and enhanced user experience, constantly improve our offerings, prevent fraud, offer relevant information of potential interest to you, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and platform requirements. Please note that information you have shared with others through our messaging features, collaboration features, program participation, work submissions, or similar Service features may remain visible even after you close your account or delete the information from your profile or mailbox. Additionally, we do not have control over data that other Members may have copied from our Services. Your profile or other public information may also continue to appear in external services like search engine results until they refresh their cache.
6. CHILDREN
Internset is an online platform designed for individuals aged 13 years and above, or the minimum age required under applicable law. If you are under the age of 13 at the time of your initial visit to Internset, we kindly request that you refrain from using our website or Services independently. Instead, we encourage you to explore our platform under parental or guardian guidance and supervision where permitted by applicable law.
